Welcome to Eki Mental Health PLLC

Great to meet you.

Where heritage meets holistic, evidence-based mental health care.

I'm Dr. Isi Etakibuebu, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Regis College and over a decade of experience in mental health care. I work with adults across a wide range of psychiatric conditions — from depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD to bipolar disorder, OCD, perinatal mental health, and substance-use concerns.

As a psychiatric clinician, I bring clinical expertise and a deep commitment to meeting each patient where they are. My care is for adults across all races, professions, and nationalities — anyone who wants psychiatry that pairs medication management with genuine listening and strengths-based framing. I have particular clinical experience supporting LGBTQ+ adults, neurodivergent clients, trauma survivors, and patients navigating perinatal mental health.

My practice is rooted in empathy, evidence-based care, and a commitment to making sure you feel heard, supported, and empowered. I take time to listen, assess thoroughly, and design a treatment plan with you — not for you. We'll talk about sleep, stress, relationships, lifestyle, substances, and your support system alongside any prescription decisions, and you stay in the driver's seat.

With clinical experience across inpatient psychiatry, crisis residential services, and outpatient medication management, I've seen how mental health care can feel rushed and impersonal. Eki Mental Health exists to be the opposite of that.
